Special EventsAnalog Cycles 4x4 Ride

Late spring brings out the wildflowers, a bit of sunshine and 100 or so riders from around the Eastern Seaboard. They gather like moths to a flame at the annual Analog Cycles 4x4 ride. That’s four Class 4 roads over 40 miles.  For those unfamiliar with a Class 4 road, it’s Vermont DOT speak for an unmaintained dirt road.  These roads are rougher than your average dirt road, often needing a modified vehicle (think lifted Jeep) to drive on.  Analog’s 4x4 gets riders out on these forgotten roads to tour the area around Poultney.  Big views, a casual pace, roads rarely seen, all ending with a dip at a local swimming hole, a big bonfire and post ride camp out.  The exact date varies by year, but you can check Analogcycles.com or bikereg.com for more info as spring approaches!
