Intro to Martial Arts

Instructor: Terry Bergen, 5th degree black belt

Children will be introduced to a traditional Asian Martial Arts system. Participants will be exposed to a range of martial arts activities including: meditation, exercise, stances, blocks, punches, and kicks. Emphasis will be placed on awareness, discipline, respect, character, and combat. Concepts will be transmitted in an atmosphere that emphasizes the fun of physical activity and increasing physical competence.
