It was great summer full of camps, activities and events. Our recreation success depends on wonderful coaches, counselors and supporters. Their skills, enthusiasm, commitment and positive energy are a big part of what makes our recreation programs one of the best. Thank you sincerely for all those involved in Poultney Recreation this summer. We served over 600 participants throughout the summer.
See you next summer! We are also looking forward to starting a new pickle ball program.

In Loving Memory of Jonas Rosenthal
Jonas Rosenthal was a friend, colleague, town manager, recreation director, event planner, hockey fanatic, jokester but mostly a man who worked hard for what he believed in. Jonas continued to support and stay involved in the town that meant so much to him even after retiring. He was an integral part of the Poultney Recreation Commission for the past 35 years. He was an organizer, leader, king of paperwork but mostly a man who loved Poultney and wanted to make sure every kid had the opportunity to be involved in recreation programs. It was his drive and dedication that built such a wonderful and successful program in Poultney. Jonas was admired for his leadership, his commitment to get things done, his work ethics and especially his love for Poultney. Jonas will be greatly missed but his love for Poultney and recreation will live on in all the programs he loved and supported. He was truly a wonderful person that made a difference in the lives he touched.
