Beginning Tuesday, June 20thstop in any time to pick up your summer challenge sheet, win PRIZES in our weekly iSpy challenge, do the ACTIVITY of the week, and check out a book!

Complete the Summer Reading Bingo Challenge or Pre-Reader Challenge to win a book, bag, and stuffed animal!

Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Leave a furry friend at the library on Friday, June 23rd. Come back Saturday, June 24th at 11am for animal pick-up and ice cream treats from the Happy Cow Cones truck. This program is open to all ages.

Movie Matinees

Watch a fun family movie on our big screen Monday, July 10th and Monday, July 24th at 11:00am. Free snacks included.

VT Authors Story Time

Join us for a fun story time featuring books with authors and/or illustrators from Vermont! This program will be held at the Slate Quarry Park Tuesday, July 11th at 10am.

Modern Times Theater

Modern Times Theater will present an old fashioned Punch and Judy puppet show at the Slate Quarry Park Wednesday, July 12 at 11amIt’s a low-tech old-time spectacle, entertaining to children of all ages: from one to one hundred.”

Fun on the Farm Story Time

Join us for a fun story time featuring books and songs all about farms! This program will be held at the Slate Quarry Park Tuesday, July 18th at 10am.

Mr. Chris and Friends

Come out for an evening of music with Mister Chris and friends, of Vermont PBS Television Show. This live concert will be held on the Town Office lawn Tuesday, July 18th at 6pm, with a rain date of July 20th.

Rivers, Lakes, and Ponds Story Time

Join us for a fun story time featuring books and songs all about water! This program will be held at the Slate Quarry Park Tuesday, July 25th at 10am.

“Our Wild Community” with the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum

This program will bring some of the Museum’s Live Animal Educators to meet the audience up close and talk about how we can live peacefully with the wildlife around us. This program will be held in the library Thursday, July 27th at 5pm.
