Preschool

4:30 - 5:00 pm

These lessons are designed specifically for children ages 3-5. Preschool lessons incorporate many water and sun safety topics while playing games and learning some basic water skills. Such things like submerging the face, underwater bobs, and supported front and back floats, giving confidence to swimmers so they can feel more comfortable in the water. Parent participation is required.

Level 1: Intro to Water Skills

5:10 - 5:40 pm

Level 1 focuses on basic water skills and helps swimmers become even more familiar with the aquatic environment. We practice skills like submerging, opening eyes, supported front and back glides, and supported arm and leg actions. The goal of Level 1 is to prepare swimmers ages 5+ to build their comfort in the water and learn how to float independently. Parents are encouraged to stay, but do not need to participate.

Level 2: Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills

5:50 - 6:20 pm

This class is for swimmers (ages 6+) who are ready to demonstrate skills independently. We practice front and back floats, swimming with combined arm and leg actions on front and back (stroke introduction), as well as swimming in shoulder-deep water. Parents are encouraged to stay, but do not need to participate.
